Five reasons to support Beth
Pum rheswm i gefnogi Beth

I will be the strongest Voice for our Valleys. Merthyr Tydfil and Upper Cynon share common concerns.

We need a champion who knows both valleys inside out and will fight for their fair share.

I am the best-known advocate in Parliament for fair funding for Wales, for better pay, pensions and social security and defending our hard won democratic rights.

Fi fydd y Llais cryfaf dros ein Cymoedd. Mae Merthyr Tudful a Chwm Cynon Uchaf yn rhannu pryderon cyffredin.

Mae angen arnom hyrwyddwr sy'n adnabod y ddau gwm o'r tu mewn ac fydd yn ymladd am eu cyfran deg.

Fi yw’r eiriolwr mwyaf adnabyddus yn y Senedd dros ariannu teg i Gymru, dros gyflog gwell, pensiynau a nawdd cymdeithasol ac amddiffyn ein hawliau democrataidd.

A community candidate
Ymgeisydd cymunedol

This is my home. I grew up in Aberdare and I now live in Penderyn with my family. The majority of my working life has been in these valleys, with Shelter Cymru, as a community worker in Penywaun and extensive research in Heolgerrig for my doctorate. As a volunteer I have worked in foodbanks, been a school Governor, and managed a community service for children and young people.

Dyma fy nghartref. Cefais fy magu yn Aberdâr ac rwyf bellach yn byw ym Mhenderyn gyda fy nheulu. Mae’r rhan fwyaf o fy mywyd gwaith wedi bod yn y cymoedd hyn, gyda Shelter Cymru, fel gweithiwr cymunedol ym Mhenywaun ac ymchwil helaeth yn Heolgerrig ar gyfer fy doethuriaeth. Fel gwirfoddolwr rwyf wedi gweithio mewn banciau bwyd, wedi bod yn Llywodraethwr ysgol, ac wedi rheoli gwasanaeth cymunedol i blant a phobl ifanc.

Proven ability to campaign
Gallu profedig i ymgyrchu

Since being elected to Parliament in 2019, I have prioritised campaigning on the cost-of-living crisis, demanding controls on energy bills and food prices and standing with trade unionists for higher pay.

I completed a Cost of Living survey with local constituents, presented a petition to parliament, held local rallies and raised funds for local foodbanks.

Ers cael fy ethol i San Steffan yn 2019, rwyf wedi rhoi blaenoriaeth i ymgyrchu ar yr argyfwng costau byw, mynnu rheolaethau ar filiau ynni a phrisiau bwyd a sefyll gydag undebwyr llafur am gyflog uwch.

Cwblheais arolwg Costau Byw gydag etholwyr lleol, cyflwyno deiseb i San Steffan, cynnal ralïau lleol a chodi arian ar gyfer banciau bwyd lleol.

Working across the movement
Gweithio ar draws y symudiad

I am proud to have worked with groups and traditions across the labour movement  – from the Co-op Party and Cwmpas to sharing platforms with the leader of Welsh Labour, Mark Drakeford and Metro Mayor Andy Burnham.

I am especially proud of Labour’s roots in the trade unions movement and was honoured to address the 2022 Wales TUC Congress.

Rwy’n falch fod i wedi gweithio gyda grwpiau a thraddodiadau ar draws y mudiad llafur – o’r Blaid Gydweithredol a Chwmpas i rannu llwyfannau gyda’r arweinydd o Llafur Cymru Mark Drakeford a Maer Metro Andy Burnham.

Rwy’n arbennig o falch o wreiddiau Llafur yn y mudiad undebau llafur ac roedd yn anrhydedd cael annerch Cyngres TUC Cymru 2022.

Following in Keir Hardie's footsteps
Dilyn yn ôl troed Keir Hardie

Our new constituency reconnects two areas represented by Keir Hardie (1900-1915). Keir Hardie inspires me, from his commitment to working-class representation in Parliament, to his internationalist outlook.

He sought to build a better world for the people of the Merthyr and Cynon Valleys and I will continue to do the same.

Mae ein hetholaeth newydd yn ailgysylltu dwy ardal a gynrychiolir gan Keir Hardie (1900-1915). Mae Keir Hardie yn fy ysbrydoli, o’i ymrwymiad i gynrychiolaeth dosbarth gweithiol yn San Steffan, i’w rhagolwg rhyngwladol.

Ceisiodd adeiladu byd gwell i bobl Cymoedd Merthyr a Chwm Cynon a byddaf yn parhau i wneud yr un peth.
